The Heart of Christ: Let this heart be in you.

HEART_2

Sometimes in life a traumatic experience takes place that makes no sense and you sit and wonder, what was the purpose. The thought ponders your mind, “but why”, as you try to cope with the pain inside. The burden, the grief, the pain that can never be brief.

Listen, I bought you with a price, a price that I paid, by giving MY life. You are of value and I love you so much, that I would lay down My life for you. A sinner, who knew no good, but by MY grace you came into the glory. Do you not know that I have the power to turn this around? Do I not have the power to cause all things to cease? But, I choose to love you. I choose to bring you into life. I choose you as an example of MY love. I choose you to love when you think it is impossible to love.

The love that I require of you is not your love but it is MY love. The love that passes all understanding, the love that will shape not just your tomorrow, but the world’s tomorrow.

Allow MY love to transform your life into MY life. As I laid there on the cross, I knew that MY life was not in vain. As I felt each nail it was MY love for you that allowed ME to bare the pain. I take joy in knowing that each one of you was worth what I endured.

Take the heart, which is in ME, learn MY ways, love as I love and change this world. I choose you; I committed MY life to you.

As I stretch out MY hands to you, I have MY heart beating and pounding in MY hand. And I request that you would replace your old beating heart, which is ready to give out, and replace it with MINE.

It does not mean that you will not feel pain. It does not mean that you will not endure hardship. What it does mean is that you have the ability to love beyond the circumstances. This is why I came, that you may have life and have it more abundantly. Take MY yoke upon you and learn of ME, for MY yoke is easy and MY burden is light. Love and live, not according to how you feel, but love and live according to MY heart, which I give to you this day. Let it transform your life, your thinking, your pain, your emotions, and watch ME do the work.

Trust ME, I am yours and you are MINE.

As I revive you to live ~ forgive, heal, minister, deliver, and transform the world through the heart in which I gave you.

You are not exempt from hurt or pain, but you can show the world how to love again, because of MY love and gift to you. For the love in which I give is perfect.

“My mind is captured by thoughts of her. I can smell her perfume and hear her voice. What do I do?”

“Tom, I have known you since grade school. Who are you talking about?”

“The woman from my dreams; she comes and visit almost every night.”

“What does she say?”

“’Hold me’ and then I grab her and love instantly permeates.”

Doorbell rings.

“Hey Tom, this is my cousin Sara from Tennessee.”

Standing in shock and shaken. Can this really be the woman from my dreams?

She approaches, “Have we met before?”

I can’t blow this now! What’s next?

Did someone call me?
“Katelyn”
I don’t know anyone here.
I am tired and I do not want to be noticed.
The struggle to fight is unbearable.
I just want to go quietly, knowing the plans for tonight.
Should I answer the voice beyond the brush?
“Katelyn”
It is so welcoming and inviting.
Walking across the boardwalk bare feet, I feel as if I am in another world.
A new hope grows with every step.
In the distance could that really be him.
All of my strength leaves me as I looked at the silhouette of my love.

It’s been 35 years since I’ve seen you. Today is a special day and I wish you were here. I have attempted to find you on many occasions but to no avail, I kept on living. I have experienced many of life challenges since your departure.

I remember the day we got the call, John was sitting to the table coloring and we quickly performed what we practiced for months. John’s memory is so vague, but I remember like it was yesterday. John is getting married today wish you were here.

In tears, “others were found but where are you!”

Life’s Journey

Copyright by Aquila Wade

Where does “Life’s Journey” begin for you? We may focus on that journey starting at the time of birth and then we live life often time reflecting on the past. For some the past was filled with wonderful experiences and others it was a time of hardship. Nevertheless your “Life’s Journey” began and that is something to give thanks for.

As we journey through life often times we get to many crossroads. The one I am stressing is the one that led to our salvation. When we arrived at the crossroad we were tire, thirsty, hungry, and hopeless, with a lack of joy or zest.

Standing at that crossroad, we can visually see the path we just walked down. In glancing back it was fill of different emotions love, hurt, joy pain, sadness, gladness and the likes. But there was a void that nothing seemed to fill. We were not able to fill it with the things that we thought would have mattered. So we stood looking at the two roads before us.

Both roads appeared the same initially but we learnt that Jesus would walk with us down one path. When discovering the road that led to salvation we stumbled across the Word of God, taking note that SOMEONE thought enough to give us a manual.

When choosing the road of salvation it came with a manual called the “Living Word” or the “Holy Bible”. Time and again we may have found ourselves stumbling or falling as we learnt the things we ought to do. So we made the adjustments and continued learning how to walk on the path.

The path took us down some unfamiliar territories, but all along the way we knew that we were never alone. Jesus was always present ushering or even carrying us thru. With a still sweet voice saying “You can’t stop here, we must keep on there is destiny awaiting you”.

So you learnt how to rest in his arms, when tired. As we progressed the former things no longer caused us to stumble. So we began to pick up speed in our walk but along came distractions. It may have presented itself in the form of a man or woman; it may have developed as a result of a harmless habit. Nevertheless it took our minds off of our path and we began to stray way.

Our thought no longer rested in the joy or our hope for our destiny, but our thoughts always evolved back to our path. So with love and care Jesus healed, delivered, set free, healed, delivered, set free, healed, delivered, set free over and over again. With outstretched arms he awaited our return, just as a parent reaches out for their child teaching him or her how to walk.

The goal of every parent is to see their child grow and mature and become productive in life. However, in the body of Christ often times we spend so much time at the infancy stage due to distractions. There are great experiences awaiting us if we choose to mature. As babes in Christ we are instructed to desire the sincere milk of the Word of God, (I Peter 2:2).

Parents take active thoughts to wean their baby off of milk. The milk was provided to the baby because he/she did not know how to process baby or table food (as grandmother would say). But as the baby grew up the milk became non-sufficient and the baby cried for more and required more frequent feedings. The parents then provided the baby with baby food, ranging from vegetables, fruits, juices, and even meals in a jar. Then the baby food became non-sufficient and the child required more to feel full and not hungry. So the parents move forward to table food. The child body began to adjust and became regulated.

Our Father desires for us to get to the stage in “Life’s Journey” where he is able to give us not only the milk, but he wants to give us strong meats for our meal. Once we can consume the strong meat provided by the hands of God we will be used as skillful laborers by our Father, (Hebrews 5:13-14).

Let’s get to the table and chow down on some real food or table food. There is much work for us to do and destiny waits. I want my full course meal with a belly full in Christ Jesus!

Times of Refreshments

relaxing-place-34

When the word refresh comes to mind, what do you think of?

Possibly your mind thinks on a steady flow of gentle rain that lightly refreshes on a hot dry day. Or maybe an ice-cold glass of lemonade after working in the garden or cutting the grass. Perhaps sitting down after a long day of work to read your favorite book is refreshing.

For each one of us and in different circumstances refreshment is experience differently. Nevertheless it all means the same thing, to replenish.

As we have embarked 2013, many have purchased planners for the year. The rationale behind the planner is to write out our goals and/or visions for our personal life. Writing out our goals is a remarkable task. By doing so our personal vision and goals are documented and we are equipped carry out our goals.

No matter how busy you may get, my request to you is to love on yourself. To successfully love on yourself, include opportunities of refreshing in your planned vision.

It is very easy to neglect yourself and not consider times of refreshing as a normal routine. Everyone can use and experience refreshment opportunities. According to Exodus 31:17, God rested and was refreshed. Even God took the time to refresh and we should too.

From Loving Me to Loving You
Refreshed as the morning dew
Refreshed, refreshed, refreshed
Refreshed as the sky turns blue
Refreshed, refreshed, refreshed
Refreshed as a snow-capped mountain after a storm
Refreshed, refreshed, refreshed
Refresh us like only YOU can,
Refresh us like the morning rain
Refresh our soul from the strains of life
And restore us with YOUR love

Our Father!

Life’s Rhythm

Have you ever taken Wind + blowball = full springthe time to think about the Life’s Rhythm?
What is that? What do you mean?
Consider the wind that blows on a cool day, now consider the same wind that blows during a storm.
One brings you a refreshing breeze that shifts your hair.
The other can excite an unstable emotion that can be portrayed as panic, fear, or distress.
Is it not the same wind that gently massages?
We live during a time where there is an effort to remove God from our very existence.
Does that change who God is within our life? Is HE not the same God today, yesterday, and forevermore?
As we embark on 2013 allow this to be the year that we, as the Body of Christ, trust God no matter what the wind is doing.
Learn how to listen to Life’s Rhythm. The waters upon the earth flow with a distinct rhythm; the animals operate within a rhythm; the plants and trees thrive within a rhythm.
Does God not control the wind? Does God not already know the future and the outlook?
Therefore, we are to rest in HIS arms. The plans that God have for HIS people is to provide peace with an expected end according to Jeremiah 29:11.
So if a storm comes, know that you have the authority to speak peace and quiet the storm.
You are an active participant in Life’s Rhythm.
Use the same peace that was provided to you.
Does our Father God not know the end result?
Rest in HIS faithfulness, trust, embrace 2013, and flow in the Life’s Rhythm!

Fireworks

Gazing up admiring the fireworks Jimmy said, “Mom.”
“Yes, dear.”
“Do you think that we are making too much noise for God”, asked Jimmy, as the fireworks set off in their hometown of Wallaville.
“I don’t believe so dear.”

“Do you think that God goes into HIS room and close the door, hoping that the noise would be over?”
“No dear.”
“Mom, are we supposed to do what God does?”
“Certainly dear.”
“I guess I have to learn how to be like God? I get tired of hearing you and daddy fussing.”

The Dress

white%20robes

“Come quickly, come quickly and see the dress I want to purchase”, exclaim Jane. “Isn’t it lovely”, she says, as she stands outside the department store window. “I just want to go in and touch it but I am afraid to enter the store.”

Carla, her best friend, stared at her wondering why she was so fascinated with the outdated dress. So she boldly asks, “Why are you afraid?”

“Look at the price tag on that dress. It is turned backwards, which means the cost is really high and they don’t want to scare off the shoppers.”

“Really, I never knew that”, said Carla.

The dress that the two young ladies beheld was of a pure white fabric that appeared to be of an unknown brand. There was nothing flashy about the dress. It was a long flowing dress that had a touch of lace that embodied the outer lining. There were no buttons that were visible to the naked eyes.

As the ladies view the dress, a couple entered the store. They looked to be in their 30s, they spoke another language, but they appeared to be tired. The looked as if they were living on the streets and that they were hungry and thirsty. As soon as the two entered into the department store, they were greeted by the associates. They watched one associate welcome the couple and guided them to an area that had a partition that separated them from the viewing of others.

“Well Jane, those two went into the department store. They look like they don’t have any money.”

“Some stores do charity cases,” whispered Jane, “they surely cannot afford anything in there.”

The two girls continued in their walk but the dress continued to linger in Jane’s mind. She made a decision that she would come back next week and find out how much the dress cost. As a full-time student, she considered the possibility of purchasing the dress with her part-time salary.

Two weeks went by before Jane was able to take a walk on the street the department store resided. Jane had gone through many
challenges within the two weeks’ time frame. Jane recalled the last time she visited the department store with her best friend Carla. As her mind reminiscence on the events of that day, tears began to swell in her eyes.

“I did not know that would have been our last walk”, said Jane sadly.

As she took the familiar stroll her heart began to beat faster recounting the steps. She was so young, life is not fair. Why did this have to happen to her? Now what does she have to look forward to, thought Jane. How can life get any better for Carla?

Within the two weeks Carla was in an accident that left her as an invalid that depends on her parents for everything. The drunk driver should have to pay for what he has done to her. Jane knew that Carla was a cautious driver that always drove with care. That is one of the reasons why, she could not believe the misfortune that has overcame her best friend.

“She doesn’t even know who I am”, Jane spoke softly to herself. The driver, name unknown because he fled the scene, took her best friend from 2nd grade. “What gives him the right to just up and leave? He didn’t even check on Carla or called for help. I really hope that they find him.”

As Jane approached the department store window, she noticed that the dress still hang in the window. It appeared untouched; the tag remained in the exact same position. Jane stopped and for a brief moment her mind was at a break from her grief, and she visualized herself in the long flowing dress.

“Where would I were it? I can’t were it to class. I can’t even work in the dress.” Frustrated Jane continues, “It is just a stupid dress that I don’t need or can’t afford.”

Jane mind went back to Carla’s misfortune and decided to enter into the department store. Life is short and I have to start living, Jane considered.

As Jane pushed open the door that lead into the department store, every concern left her mind. Upon entering the room, the flow of running water was overheard. Is there a fountain, thought Jane? By her second step the associate was headed in her direction. She could not tell if it was the same person, they all appear to look-alike and had a glow about them.
Immediately her nostril took a waft of a sweet smell that over powered and she didn’t recognize the fragrance. The associate gently grabbed Jane’s hand and welcomed her.

“I have been looking at the dress that is in the window over there. I really want to know how much it is”, said Jane.

“This dress right here”, says the associate, as she leads her to the dress. “This is our special dress that never goes out of season.”

As the two young ladies reached the dress located in the bay window area, Jane finally sees the opposite side of the ticket and noticed that there wasn’t any digit located on the tag. Jane slowly turned her head and looked at the associate baffled. The associate eyes contained so much peace that seemed to engulf whatever it looked at.

“What does this mean? I have never seen a tag where one side is white and the other painted in a red color.” Jane was really concerned and knew that she would not be able to afford the dress.

The associated looked at Jane and said, “It was already paid for. The purchaser has made advance payments for anyone that wants this stunning piece.”

Question: What does the dress represent?

Answer: Salvation that is freely given to all men and women.

We have taken a walk through the course of every believer’s life. Jane and Carla taking a stroll down a street represents how we have walk without Christ, believing that we understood what it took to wear the garment of salvation. Notice how Jane’s eyes were drawn to the dress and there was nothing stunning that should have caught her attention. It represents how God draws us unto salvation, (John 6:44).

The couple that entered into the department store was at a place in life where they were ready to accept salvation. They were beaten up by life, but they knew the direction and were ready to accept the gift of salvation, making a commitment as a family. They journey have brought them to a place where they realize that they are hungry and thirsty for life. Within salvation Jesus promises that whoever comes to Him shall no longer thirst or be hungry, (Matthew 5:6; John 6:35).

When Jane and Carla walked off from the department store, it signifies the times in our life when salvation was presented and for whatever reasons we were not ready to accept. Perhaps, like Jane, we thought the cost for salvation was too much and we kept it moving.

Jane experienced a tragic event that drew her back to the gift of salvation. Many times it takes tragedy to get us to the department store viewing the gift of salvation, wondering if it can really work for our situation. Jane lost her best friend in an unfortunate incident. As we prepare to adorn the gift of salvation, we may find ourselves alone. We may lose the friends that we once held; it does not change the gift being offered, just as the gift was still on Jane’s mind. Carla existence represents the realistic situations that we bring with us requiring God’s grace and wisdom to get through.

Acceptance of the gift does not wipe out our circumstances, but it does provide us with support, direction, and guidance.

Jane’s brief moment to focus on entering into the department store signifies the perfect opportunities when silence happens, that gives us the chance to really consider salvation. For example, a man or woman may be at their wit’s end as they contemplate taking his or her own life. The brief interruption that comes with the suggestion that, God loves you and you don’t have to make this choice is elevated. The opportunity to make a life choice may come by a phone call, a television evangelist, or even a divine intervention. Jane’s brief moment gave her the courage to enter.

The water, which Jane was not able to locate, flowing within the department store denotes the water of life. Jane was not able to locate the fountain because the water sprung (John 4:14) from the associates that glowed with the love of God. The sweet fragrance symbolizes the sweet incense that hanged from the doorway of the tabernacle of the Old Testament (Exodus 35:15).

The associates are not named because we are all servants in the body of Christ. The message is about salvation by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The price tag could not display numerals because there isn’t any amount of money that can purchase salvation. It was paid for by Jesus Christ when he died on the cross for the sins of mankind. Salvation is a gift that one must accept. It is not or can ever be a tradition that is handed down from generation to generation. Salvation is offered to ever soul and everyone has the ability to accept or reject the gift. We have freedom of choice that expands across all of mankind.

The robe is yours for the acceptance, (Revelation 7:9).
